How this resolves

This market resolves YES if Base officially launches a token on or before December 31, 2026 (11:59 PM UTC), and NO otherwise. To qualify, the token must be live and publicly transferable and tradable — a formal announcement, roadmap entry, or testnet placeholder alone does not count. The primary resolution source is official communication from Base (the Base team, Coinbase, or Jesse Pollak); where the official wording is ambiguous, a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.

Fee and settlement

Fees fund Hunch markets. The 2% entry fee from this market goes to the Hunch market treasury. Winners split the entire market pool pro-rata by stake (parimutuel), so payouts never exceed the pool. This market has no live price feed — it is settled manually once the outcome is clear from official base communications + consensus of credible reporting, by Dec 31, 2026, 11:59 PM UTC at the latest.
