Resolves YES the instant HYPE is confirmed inside the top 5 cryptocurrencies by market cap — counting all CoinGecko assets but EXCLUDING fiat-pegged stablecoins (USDT, USDC, USDS and the like) — at any settlement tick on or before December 31, 2026; otherwise NO at the deadline. Wrapped tokens and tokenised real-world assets still count. At creation HYPE (≈$15.4B) ranks #8 among non-stablecoins; the #5 spot is held by Solana (≈$40.6B), so HYPE must roughly 2.6× to break in. How this resolves
Resolves YES the instant HYPE is confirmed at rank 5 or better among all cryptocurrencies by market cap — excluding fiat-pegged stablecoins (USDT, USDC, USDS and the like) — at any settlement tick on or before Dec 31, 2026, 11:59 PM UTC. Otherwise NO at the deadline. Wrapped tokens and tokenised real-world assets still count. The ranking is the public market-cap order shown on coingecko.com; a crossing must persist across a later settlement tick (a ~30-minute confirmation guard) before it can lock, so a single glitchy reading can never settle the market.
Fee and settlement
Fees fund Hunch markets. The 2% entry fee from this market goes to the Hunch market treasury. Winners split the entire market pool pro-rata by stake (parimutuel), so payouts never exceed the pool.
