Will a Coinbase tokenized stock be live as Aave collateral on Base before 2027

A native Hunch YES/NO market on the headline promise of tokenized equities. The pitch is that a share stops sitting idle in a brokerage account and becomes a DeFi building block — borrow dollars against your NVIDIA without selling it. Aave on Base is the flagship venue named for exactly this. But listing a new collateral asset means a governance vote, a risk framework and an oracle the DAO trusts, and none of that is automatic. Resolves YES if any B20 tokenized stock is enabled as collateral in a live Aave market on Base before December 31, 2026 — and NO otherwise.

How this resolves

This market resolves YES if, at any time on or before December 31, 2026 (11:59 PM UTC), at least one Coinbase tokenized stock (a B20 token on Base) is listed in a live Aave market on Base with collateral enabled — i.e. a user can actually supply that token and borrow against it, with a non-zero loan-to-value. A governance proposal, a vote that has passed but not executed, a testnet deployment, or a listing that is supply-only with collateral disabled all resolve NO. Aave v3, v4 or any successor version deployed on Base counts; a deployment on any other chain does not. Hunch settles this from the Aave protocol's on-chain reserve configuration on Base, cross-checked against Aave governance records and a consensus of credible reporting.

Fee and settlement

Fees fund Hunch markets. The 2% entry fee from this tokenized-stock lending market goes to the Hunch market treasury. Winners split the entire market pool pro-rata by stake (parimutuel), so payouts never exceed the pool. This market has no live price feed — it is settled manually once the outcome is clear from aave on base reserve configuration (on-chain) + aave governance records, by Dec 31, 2026, 11:59 PM UTC at the latest.
